Today I was watching a movie and this song was in it. I sang along and remembered most of the words, but I struggled to remember the name of the band and even the song for several moments before I finally had to turn to Google. I can’t believe I couldn’t remember “Survivor”, considering I grew up listening to them. I even have a funny story about them. Years ago, my friends were at Denny’s and Survivor was sitting there. Yes, the band survivor. They walked over and said, excuse me, are you Survior? They said, yes we are, do you want an autograph? And they said, “No”, and walked away. I was actually kind of annoyed because they all knew I loved Survivor, and they did it so they’d have a story to tell me… but it didn’t occur to them that I might have wanted the autograph! lol. Even if none of my friends like Survivor, I do! 🙂
