Willie Nelson – Always on my mind
Willie Nelson – Always on my mind Lyrics:
Maybe I didn’t love you
Quite as often as I could have
Maybe I didn’t treat you
Quite as good as I should have
If I made you feel second best
Girl I’m sorry I was blind
But you were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Maybe I didn’t hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
I guess I never told you
I’m so happy that you’re mine
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your
Sweet love hasn’t died
And give me
Give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied
I keep you satisfied
Little things I should have
Said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Willie Hugh Nelson (born April 30, 1933 in Abbott, Texas) is an American country singer-songwriter, author, poet, actor and activist.
He reached his greatest fame during the outlaw country movement of the 1970s, but remains iconic, especially in American popular culture.
Willie continued to have hits throughout the early ’80s, when he had a major crossover success in 1982 with a cover of Elvis Presley’s hit “Always on My Mind.” The single spent two weeks at number one and crossed over to number five on the pop charts, sending the album of the same name to number two on the pop charts as well as quadruple-platinum status.
Following a string of number one singles in early 1985, including “Highwayman,” the first single from the Highwaymen, a supergroup he formed with Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson.
